Clause 1 Acceptance of terms
To be drafted. Registering for NCTE 2026 means accepting these Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Code of Conduct.
Clause 2 Eligibility
To be drafted. Age requirement, target audience (English teachers and ELT professionals), and how institutional registrations work.
Clause 3 Account registration
To be drafted. One account per person, accurate data, password responsibility, and what happens if a user provides false information.
Clause 4 The boarding pass
To be drafted. The QR-based ticket code (NCTE-XXXXXX) is personal and non-transferable. Re-printing is allowed. Sharing your code with a third party invalidates entry.
Clause 5 Conference attendance
To be drafted. Schedule, venue, capacity per concurrent room, deadline to change seat reservations (midnight CR before Day 1), and what happens if a session is full.
Clause 6 Pricing, payments and refunds
To be drafted. Pricing tiers (early-bird / standard), accepted payment methods, refund window and the process to request a refund.
Clause 7 Cancellations and substitutions
To be drafted. How and when an attendee can cancel; whether someone else can take their place.
Clause 8 Force majeure
To be drafted. CCCN's obligations if the event has to be postponed or moved fully virtual due to events outside its control.
Clause 9 Recordings and intellectual property
To be drafted. Plenaries and webinars may be recorded; how recordings are licensed; speaker materials remain their property.
Clause 10 Photography and use of image
To be drafted. Attendee photography during the event; opt-out process.
Clause 11 Limitation of liability
To be drafted. CCCN's liability cap, exclusions, and what is not covered (lost personal items, etc.).
Clause 12 Indemnification
To be drafted. Attendee's responsibility for harm caused to other attendees or to the venue.
Clause 13 Suspension and termination
To be drafted. Grounds on which CCCN can revoke a boarding pass without refund.
Clause 14 Modifications to these terms
To be drafted. How material changes are communicated; the rights of attendees who already registered when terms change.
Clause 15 Governing law and jurisdiction
To be drafted. Costa Rican law applies; courts of San José are competent.
